Because we truly believe it takes a village.
Our mission is to support homeschooling families by providing a hybrid model of education that reflects your educational goals. We aim to provide support for your current home education plans by providing a classroom experience component that blends teacher-led, on-site instruction with outdoor plan and exploration.
Our model focuses on growing the whole child: head, hands, and heart. We instill a love of learning with a balanced approach through free play, games, and hands on activities. We cultivate creativity, encourage imagination, and embrace individuality, while developing life skills in a home away from home.
Our small class size creates a non-overwhelming environment that allows for individualized teacher attention, as well as a peaceful opportunity to develop authentic friendships.
Here at It Takes A Village, we embrace all of our community members. Our families bring life to our classroom. We support one another on our journey, celebrating many of our similarities, differences, traditions and beliefs, along the way. We embrace and welcome all religious backgrounds, but teach none. The only fellowship that we focus on is a sense of community.
We respect and value our families and understand how important it is for parents to control the narrative surrounding "hot button topics."
The approach will cover educational needs from A to Z, from social interaction to academics, instilling a lifelong love of learning.
